Easily the best value for money 7″ Mak available

Maksutov Cassegrains above this aperture become too problematic with cool-down time. From a warm house to the cold outside, allow approx. 1.5 hours for all signs of lower order spherical aberration to disappear. Usable for general observing after about 45 minutes. Once cooled the lunar/planetary images are excellent. Will give very satisfying images of condensed deep-sky objects. Great for planetary video imaging, the 2700mm focal length providing the image scale required
