A SeeStar S50 Dew Shield prevents the formation of dew on your telescope optics. It also prevents stray light from entering the telescope.
This product is 3D printed, so the usual minor imperfections, like layer lines, associated with 3D printing can be seen on the printed parts.

Please remove the dew shield before closing the arm, or not actively using the Seestar for more than 10mins to avoid collisions. The Seestar 50 will also auto-close the arm at approx 5% battery life.
The Seestar will close with the Dew Shield in place, potentially jamming it against the arm and casing, or best, popping off the Dew Shield. The Seestar also auto-closes the arm after 10-15 mins of no activity/not actively tracking a target
