Baader Double Polarizing Filter

A polariser or polarising filter enhances contrast during planetary observation. Useful for solar work in conjunction with Baader Herschel Wedge Prism. Planoptically polished.

• Put the Baader Solar Polarization Filter between the Baader Herschel Wedge and the eyepiece and easily adjust the brightness of the solar image.
• 1.25″ model (sold here) can attach directly to 1.25″ eyepiece. If you are using both 1.25″ & 2″ eyepieces, a 2″ Polarization filter is recommended, along with a T2-15 2″-to-1.25″ Adapter so that you can conveniently switch eyepieces regardless of their barrel size.
• The Baader Solar Polarization Filter achieves the optimum brightness for maximum visual contrast at any magnification.
• Do not use this polarization filter on the Sun except as part of the Herschel Wedge chain. Immediate eye damage will result.
